The Net Manager for the 2007 calendar year is Rodney Curtis, N4RLC. The
Cherokee Capital ARS encourages its members to be the net control station (NCS)
on a rotating basis as a training exercise for net procedures in the event of an
emergency in our area. If you would like to operate as Net Control

Calling all amateurs to the Cherokee Capital Amateur Radio net. This is a
directed net, please direct all calls through net control. This net is
supported by and is a function of the Cherokee Capital Amateur Radio Society.
This net is open to all amateur radio operators authorized to operated on the
input frequency of this repeater.

(List all traffic and ask if any station can handle it. If
there is a lot of traffic, ask the stations to go to a simplex frequency or

(Add stations to the check in list and query each one for the
announcement. Take any information and relay it at the end of the net.
